🌟 Human of StarCamp: Qui Huynh – From Safe Path to Bold Impact 🌟 As an IT student at RMIT, Quí Huỳnh Lê Diễm – StarCamper at NAB Innovation Centre Vietnam (NAB Vietnam), was known for her discipline and drive. But beneath her academic success, she was searching for something more. “I wanted to build something. I wanted to contribute. I was always looking for opportunities to work on real projects that could impact the community.” That opportunity came at a career fair, where she discovered WeCamp, NAB’s women-in-tech program. It was a turning point. “WeCamp opened a wider door to my knowledge in the tech world. Our trainers shared real-world experience and gave us key concepts for further learning.” When Qui found her passion, her parents - who had always hoped for a smooth and safe path - became her biggest supporters, encouraging her to embrace new possibilities with confidence. Motivated by this support and her growing curiosity, Qui advanced to StarCamp. “StarCamp is like a sea of motivation. Everyone here is excellent, driven, and supportive. We grow together and reach for the same goals.” With guidance from mentors and peers, Qui began bridging academic theory with practical impact. “At NAB, I’ve learned to blend the academic with the practical. We don’t just build products - we understand customer pain points and put the customer first. That mindset changed everything for me.” Her capstone project on competency management was presented to the Head of NAB’s Global Tech Academy, earning high-level endorsement and winning the Capstone Winner Award for Batch 17. She was also honoured with the Most Valuable Person (MVP) Award of StarCamp. “Through StarCamp, I’ve learned to take ownership - knowing my work has real impact.” From WeCamp to StarCamp, and now a full-time team member at NAB Vietnam, Qui’s story proves that when talent meets opportunity, bold impact follows. 👉 Ready to write your own story?
