Nanoflex Robotics achieves first-ever remote thrombectomy

🌍 𝗔 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 🌍 Nanoflex Robotics, together with Inselspital Bern University Hospital and Universitätsspital Zürich, has achieved what we believe to be the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗼. In this study, a clinician based in Arizona, USA successfully removed a blood clot from an animal model in Bern, Switzerland using our Remote Intervention System (RIS) — proving that life-saving stroke care can be delivered even across continents in real time. “This milestone marks a pivotal moment as we enter a new era where precision emergency care can be delivered remotely, through the elegance and accuracy of telerobotic technology,” said Matt Curran, CEO and co-founder of Nanoflex Robotics . “We’re grateful to our clinical partners for their support as we progress towards making our vision a tangible reality.” 🔗 Read the full story: https://lnkd.in/eJR-c2G2 #NanoflexRobotics #Telerobotics #MedicalRobotics #SwissInnovation #DeepTech #StrokeCare #MedTech #Teleoperation #EndovascularCare Silvan Jungi Christian Zielasek Tomas Dobrocky Tilman Schubert Patrick Thurner Insel Gruppe Universitätsspital Zürich
