How to spot inflection points in a startup

View profile for Nate Walkingshaw

CEO and Founder of Torus

The best early-stage to growth-stage inflection points to watch for are when a founder gives away the core GTM legos of a winning sales pitch and watches a sales leader adopt that pitch, modify it for the better—for themselves and the team—and it force multiplies. That’s when you know you have something special.

Totally. I have seen the same dynamic in ops, when a process or system built by one person starts getting picked up, improved, and owned by the broader team, that’s when real scale kicks in. It’s a signal that what you’ve built isn’t just working, it’s transferable.
