The National Institutes of Health I believe our current scientific environment has become increasingly harsh, politicized, suppressive, and lacking fairness. I have personally felt the impact of these challenges. I trust that the NIH will be guided by scientific evidence and firm ethical principles to promote integrity, equity, and meaningful reform.
