The NATURAL GAS SOCIETY(NGS) in collaboration with the New Delhi Institute Of Management (NDIM) organized a focused, #3day Executive Development Program (EDP) on “Customer-Centric Mindset & Service Excellence”, specially designed for the professionals in City Gas Distribution (#CGD) sector. This EDP was held on 7th, 8th and 9th July 2025 in the holy city of #Varanasi The objective was to bridge the gap between technical knowledge and customer engagement strategies for empowering CGD professionals to deliver service excellence across PNG and CNG operations. The program was inaugurated by Shri Himanshu Nagpal, IAS - Chief Development Officer (CDO), Varanasi on 7th July, 2025. He underlined the importance of CGD sector in the development of our nation and appreciated the efforts of NGS in the area of Capability Building. 27 (Twenty Seven) participants from 9 (Nine) organizations viz. GAIL (India) Limited, Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL), Assam Gas Company Ltd(AGCL), Indraprastha Gas Limited(IGL), IMC Limited, Sholagasco Pvt. Ltd., Green Gas Limited, GAIL Gas Limited, and RAJASTHAN STATE GAS LIMITED (RSGL) attended the 3-day EDP. The key focus areas of the program were: (a) Customer behavior psychology and emotional intelligence (b) Complaint-to-loyalty conversion strategies, (c) Digital CRM integration and stakeholder engagement and (d) Regulatory framework (PNGRB) and CGD operations. The program was conducted by the learned & highly experienced faculty from the Industry as well as the Academia. Namely, Shri Vipin Chandra Chittoda, Former MD – MGL, Mumbai, Shri D V Shastry, ED - NGS and former Director, GAIL Gas & former ED – GAIL, Shri Rajiv Sikka, former CEO, IOAGPL and former Director – CUGL, IGL & MNGL, Dr.Parul Malik, Professor (CSD & Entrepreneurship) & Head Corporate Skills Development, NDIM, Dr. Vinod Kumar, Professor and HOD, Marketing Deptt, New Delhi Institute Of Management (NDIM). The EDP was full of energy, enthusiasm and interactive participation of the delegates which made all the sessions lively and meaningful. The program got excellent feedback. The participants appreciated the practical insights, real-life examples and group activities.
