Brineworks has raised €6.8 million to scale its Direct Air Capture technology. The funding round was led by SeaX Ventures, with additional support from several other investors. Brineworks also received a €1.8 million grant from the European Innovation Council. The company's technology focuses on capturing CO₂ from the air and producing hydrogen, which can be used for sustainable aviation fuels and e-methanol. Brineworks aims to make carbon-neutral fuels commercially viable by the end of 2026.
