Newport News shipbuilders Steve and Eric Hunley are brothers who both work in the test engineering field. Their shipbuilding heritage dates back to their grandfather – a US Navy submariner who ended his career as a shipbuilder – and their father – a retired shipbuilder. Because of their current positions, the Hunley brothers both take part in sea trials for ships built or overhauled at NNS – Eric on aircraft carriers and Steve on submarines.
