A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of hosting another Masterclass event with Experian. We were joined by the brilliant Diane Elvers from AstraZeneca and Lisa Allen from The Pensions Regulator, who shared their experiences working in Data Governance in regulated and complex industries. Stating the obvious but… It was absolutely fascinating to see just how challenging Data Governance can be in these industries. Even more inspiring were the real-world examples of how simple structures and collaboration with key allies can help navigate these challenges, solve problems, and deliver real business value. We also explored how AI is not only creating new opportunities in Data Governance but is also expanding the scope of what teams are responsible for. I always love these events - they’re a great reminder of the power of networking with others in similar roles. There were so many interesting conversations and opportunities to share challenges, especially during the workshop sessions. My favourite part is always seeing how willing data professionals are to support each other. A big thank you to Chloe Chang and Experian for all your help organising - can’t wait for the next one, watch this space! 👀 #tdgc #datagovernance #masterclass
Collaboration between regulated industries creates powerful learning. AI expanding governance scope is exactly what we're seeing firsthand.
Thanks Nicola. I truly enjoyed the day. Great hosts and great facilitator. We have so much to do in this space -exciting times too. It’s an absolute privilege to be sharing these journeys with other folks who join, listen, question and brain storm together. Thanks so much.
