The Otay River Estuary Restoration Project has allowed natural tidal flow between the San Diego Bay and the Otay River Estuary for the first time in decades. This is a significant step toward revitalizing 165.4 acres of coastal wetlands, creating vital habitats for native fish, wildlife, and migratory birds. Odin played a key role in preconstruction planning, value engineering, and the successful execution of complex environmental and regulatory measures. We’re honored to partner with Channelside Water Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) for this important restoration effort that will benefit the South Bay ecosystem for generations to come.
