After nearly ten years of building People.ai, it’s time for a new chapter, both for the company and for me. When I started People.ai, my goal was simple: collect sales activity data to [initially] help improve seller productivity through coaching and [eventually] help AI understand the context of every deal, so sellers can spend more time with customers and AI takes care of the rest. Over the years, we’ve built the AI platform that our customers find very valuable, and I couldn’t be prouder of the team that made that happen. As People.ai enters its next phase of growth, I’ve chosen to step aside as CEO to dedicate myself to something deeply personal: helping scale the defense and drone technology emerging from Ukraine. Through this effort, I aim to help Ukraine persevere in the current war and assist the West in preventing the next one. Stay tuned for updates! I’m deeply grateful and fortunate to be able to take on this next chapter while continuing to support People.ai’s mission as a Member of the Board. Jason Ambrose, who has been the driving force behind our forward-looking strategy, will assume the role of CEO, effective today. His experience, clarity, and leadership will carry People.ai into an exciting new chapter. To everyone who has been part of this journey—our employees, customers, partners, investors, and friends—thank you. We’ve built something extraordinary together, and I’m confident that under Jason’s leadership, the best is yet to come.
👂 Listen up. We’ve got big news. After nearly a decade leading People.ai, Oleg Rogynskyy is passing the CEO baton to Jason Ambrose as part of a planned succession. Over the past year, Oleg and Jason have worked side by side, shaping company strategy and defining what’s next for our brand and product. Our mission will stay the same: help revenue teams get trusted answers they can act on. Jason brings more than 20 years of experience leading and scaling enterprise software companies at McKinsey, Anaplan, and Appirio. We’re confident he will turn vision into execution and build teams that deliver real results for our customers. Oleg built the foundation. He saw early on that the data behind every sales interaction could become the most valuable source of GTM intelligence inside a company. and knew the role of AI in the end-to-end sales process would enable sellers to focus on what they do best: selling. That idea put People.ai on the map and changed how revenue teams operate. Grateful for Oleg. Confident in what’s next. More in the comments.
