tl;dr accessing infrastructure sucks and we're rethinking it from the ground up. Join the waitlist at https://runebook.co! Full story of what Matte Noble, Cam Fulton and I have been working on below.. 🐣 Every single startup that we've worked on has gone through multiple stages of "growing up" - whether it's new compliance requirements, a first big customer, or a new security person, we go through the engineering equivalent of pushing piles of dirty laundry into the closet, lighting incense, and opening the blinds to uphold the illusion that yes, we too are upstanding legitimate humans of humankind. 🗣 "No no, of course we haven't been giving "god mode" access to everyone on our team (nervous lie), nooo I highly doubt our intern from 2015's credentials are still active (unsure half-truth), hell no I am not implementing and paying for some clunky enterprise solution to lock everyone down, we've got product to build! (vehement truth)" - early stage CTOs, probably. 💡 We sat down and thought.. what if we lived in a multiversal reality where on Day 1 people had painless access only to what they needed when they needed it? No security team required, no quarter-long implementation sprint, just link up AWS, PagerDuty and Slack for automated on-call access and native JIT workflows in Slack. 🙋 If that sounds like the world you'd like to live in, request access here: https://runebook.co or DM me to learn more - we're starting small but we've got big ideas for how we can shake up this space. :)
