Phoebe Nguyen’s Post

When I was in my junior year, I studied Data Analytics and interned in a Product team. I knew in my heart that I like Product Management, but I also enjoy learning statistics A LOT. So I decided to pursue a data role right out of college, thinking that I would pivot back to PM in the future. Fast forward to 2020, during the quarantine, I found myself stuck in a tunnel, not sure what direction I should go next. Luckily, I found a mentoring program at ADP. I quickly registered and got matched to Naomi E. L.. And that was the best thing that ever happened to me.  Naomi is a PHENOMENAL mentor, who does not simply walk ahead to show me how she did it. She walks WITH me to show me what I can do, allows me to see hope and potential inside myself. After 7 months under her wing, I finally landed a Product Management job offer at the NextGen Time Management team here in ADP.  I also owe this achievement to many other people who give me their time, words of wisdom, encouragement, and trust. Thank you, Dylan Levene, Ridhima Kaushal - I know I said this so many times already, but you are truly amazing. Thank you Ana Smith for helping me so much with the recruiting process. And thank you, Naomi, for believing in me. I would not be where I am today without you.
