Even though it’s not a UI, the layout follows strong spatial rules: 1.Spacing & Proximity The characters are spaced evenly, maintaining visual balance and avoiding crowding — this creates breathing space and makes each figure identifiable 2.Shadow & Depth Shadows add depth and separation, preventing elements from blending into the background and enhancing spatial awareness. 3.Alignment & Direction Directional alignment connects action and impact visually, making the composition feel intentional rather than random 4.Grid & Structure The chessboard grid creates structure and acts as an invisible spacing system for character placement.

Spinners work for loading. But for GPS or network states, they’re too vague. A pulse indicator in Jetpack Compose gives a clearer signal: waves radiating from a central icon. It shows exactly what’s happening — searching, connecting, connected — without extra text. I’ve published a ready-to-use @Composable on ProAndroidDev. The implementation is minimal: one animation source, three offset rings, and a central icon. The result is smooth and easy to integrate into any Compose screen.
