Production Management at the Institute of Technology Management, University of St.Gallen’s Post

At the 2025 St. Gallen Production Management Conference, the flagship event of the School of Management SoM-HSG, more than 80 leaders from industry, academia, and digital innovation gathered in St. Gallen. Together, they explored strategies, methods, and success stories under the theme “Leading the Charge: Managing the Transition Towards a New Industrial Era”. The speakers covered topics ranging from lean foundations and AI-enabled operations to digital products and smart supply chains. They showed that the future of manufacturing lies at the intersection of technology, people, and process excellence. Matteo Odermatt, Dirk Kress, Martin Reiner, Ekkehart Glaeser, Isabel Hoppe, Simon Schrepfer, Marco Parisi, Peter Soller, Moritz Classen, Dr. Marten Ritz, Dr. Dominik Remling, Torbjørn Netland, Thomas Franz, Fabian Feiner and Beat Tinner The event also celebrated excellence with the presentation of the Swiss Manufacturing Award 2025 and the REHAU Group Wirtschaftspreis. While the REHAU Wirtschaftspreis honours outstanding master’s theses in the field of production management, this year’s Swiss Manufacturing Award was presented to Burckhardt Compression for its exceptional contribution to Switzerland’s industrial landscape by Julian Mundl from Noventa Consulting AG.
