We are excited to announce the launch of our INStinct Inertial Navigation System! At Vatn, we recognized a core issue: in order to make underwater vehicles affordable, you have to make navigation affordable. INStinct delivers excellent modular performance for a fraction of the price. With our base IMU, we achieve 1% distance traveled fully GPS denied. We are also excited to partner with ANELLO Photonics to deliver our INS with the X3 SiPhOG IMU with even better performance than our base model. Annually, over 50,000 2W accidents are reported (imagine the vast majority which go unreported) of which over 25,000 are fatalities. This is the highest across vehicle types, including pedestrians. Technology innovation can avoid a good majority of this. Technology available across all Ultraviolette platforms and will keep evolving to become more accurate & ride experience enhancing.
