I had the joy of reconnecting with Mr Medora, founder of JK Medora PAC and my former mentors Frederick Tan and Rebecca Tan over lunch. It has been decades since we last met, yet the memories of my internship at JK Medora PAC during my university days remain clear. That first step into the corporate world of accounting left a lasting imprint — not only in technical learning, but also in the values of mentorship, discipline, and professionalism. Catching up after so many years was a wonderful reminder of how early guidance continues to shape one’s journey long after the internship ends. It was indeed inspiring to see everyone remained active and engaged about the accountancy profession during our conversations. Thank you, Mr Medora, for making this lunch possible.
