REDHILL ACADEMY TRUST’s Post

A look into what’s been happening across REDHILL ACADEMY TRUST this week… ✈️ Year 10 & 11 Spanish students from Colonel Frank Seely Academy emersed themselves in local culture during an action-packed trip to Valencia. Itinerary highlights included a walking tour of key sites across the city, visits to Oceanogràfic aquarium and Mestalla Stadium home of Valencia CF, as well as Spanish language lessons and paella cooking classes. 🥾 Students at Brookfield Community School recently embarked on a whole school sponsored walk in aid of Ashgate Hospice, raising over £12,000! A well-established fundraiser, now in its fourth year, this event provides the valuable opportunity to not only raise money for local charities, but for participating students to fulfil two of the school’s core values: resilience and ambition. 🎼 South Nottinghamshire Academy’s Music Department are celebrating having recently been presented with the Music Mark of Recognition for Ambition & Quality, championing the academy’s commitment to diverse, inclusive and creative music education. Their certificate and Music Mark - The UK Association for Music Education logo will now be proudly displayed at the academy. 📰Tupton Hall School proudly launched the first edition of the Tupton Hall Gazette, a student-led newspaper written by students, for students. Bi-weekly publications will cover an insightful range of topics across a variety of features and student contributions. #RedhillAcademyTrust #MultiAcademyTrust #NottinghamSchools #DerbyshireSchools
