OXEA develops high-performance, bio-based lubricants We’re proud to have contributed to a research project that won the 2025 #Sustainability Prize from the Environmental Foundation of the East Westphalian Economy, Germany. In collaboration with the Harald Gröger Working Group at Universität Bielefeld and Klüber Lubrication, our team developed a biodegradable #lubricant for marine engines that combines strong performance with sustainability. "This project shows how sustainability and our existing technology go hand in hand," said Benjamin Schieweck, Technology Center Lead at #OXEA. "It's a great example of how collaboration between science and industry can turn an idea into a real, sustainable solution." The award highlights OXEA’s contribution to making sustainable #chemistry a reality on an industrial scale In the photo: OXEA Laboratory Technician Gina Prüß and Benjamin Schieweck.

Recell at Rotterdam Processing Week: Scaling Clean-Tech for a Competitive Circular Future We were honored to be invited by ISPT - Institute for Sustainable Process Technology to speak at the Rotterdam Processing Week, where our technical lead Yme Flapper presented the latest breakthroughs in our clean-tech innovations: Cellforce and Cellvation B.V. Both technologies transform cellulosic waste streams into high-value, green resources for construction materials, bio-composites and green chemical applications. All while drastically reducing carbon emissions. Yme’s presentation showcased not only the immense economic and environmental potential, but also the technical challenges we’ve overcome on our path to scale. These milestones bring us closer to realizing a truly circular and competitive carbon economy. The future of sustainable innovation is within reach, and we’re building it. #Recell #Cellforce #Cellvation #Cleantech #CircularCarbon #GreenChemistry #Biobased #Sustainability #RotterdamProcessingWeek #ISPT #Innovation #ScalingUp
