We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Joshua Starr to Right At School as our new Superintendent in Residence! In his exciting new role, Josh will partner with superintendents and education leaders across the country to expand access to enriching out-of-school-time programs, helping students of all backgrounds and communities discover new interests, build confidence, and thrive beyond the school day. Drawing on his years of leading school systems and supporting educators nationwide, Josh brings a deep understanding of what it takes to help communities grow stronger and more connected. As a former superintendent in Montgomery County (MD) and Stamford (CT), CEO of PDK International, and a managing partner at The Center for Model Schools, he’s spent his career helping districts innovate, strengthen leadership, and create meaningful opportunities for every student.
