FläktGroup is divesting its European ducts, fittings, and silencers portfolio to Veloduct AB, backed by a Norwegian investment entity, as part of a strategic plan to narrow its product focus and concentrate on other core innovations. This move includes transferring production and logistics capabilities from its Järna, Sweden site and related equipment and inventories in Turku and Warsaw. While Veloduct will retain these operations, FläktGroup keeps its dampers and diffusers. This strategic alignment means exiting Järna by January 2025 and closing the Warsaw plant by Q1/2025, impacting production roles without affecting Polish sales and services.
