RSK Environment supports major renewable projects in Scotland

🌱 Delivering Net Zero in Scotland 🌱 Our Glasgow EIA and Environmental Management team are having an exceptionally busy year supporting the delivery of major renewable energy projects across Scotland. So far in 2025, we have submitted: ✅ 5 Section 36 applications – Allt an Tuir Renewable Energy Park, Harestanes West Windfarm, Balblair Wind Farm, Millennium East Wind Farm, Lynemore Wind Farm ✅ 1 TCPA application – Beinn Ghlas Wind Farm repowering project That represents applications for: ⚡ 362 MW of onshore wind 🔋 92 MW of battery energy storage (BESS) ☀️ 30 MW of solar If even a proportion of these projects are consented and built, they will make a significant contribution to Scotland’s Net Zero targets and the UK’s wider clean energy transition. Alongside these projects, our teams are also supporting colleagues delivering onshore wind EIAs across the UK, as well as projects in electricity transmission and hydrogen. At RSK Environment, we are proud to play our part in enabling the transition to a low-carbon future — helping clients bring forward the renewable infrastructure that will power generations to come. Please do drop us a message if you'd like to discuss a project  📣 Joe Somerville #renewables #scotland #netzero
