It's wonderful to see Sainsbury's celebrating British Food Fortnight and highlighting the incredible work of our local farmers and producers. Supporting home-grown food is so important for our community and the environment.

There’s something I really like about seeing a big name talk about soul food — not the kind that fills a plate, but the kind that fills people. It’s the same stuff good leadership is made from. As an author working on the Storyteller series, I’ve been exploring how our workplaces — and our country — rediscover their soul again, one human decision at a time. Maybe there’s room on those shelves for a bit more of that — homegrown words with heart. You never know, Sainsbury’s might just end up stocking more than great food. Something’s cooking, and it’s got a very English flavour to it.
