🔍 For a long time now, we have noticed that most hiring updates in the VLSI domain on LinkedIn demand 3 to 5 years of experience. And sometimes, it gets even more confusing — we see companies saying: 👉 “We are looking for trained freshers… but only from 2021/22 batch!” Now it’s 2025 — are they still “freshers” after 3–4 years? 🤔 If this trend continues, does it mean today’s 2025 graduates need to wait until 2028 just to be called “trained freshers”? 😅 But behind the humor lies a serious question ⬇️ 👉 What about the real freshers who graduate every year, who invest in training, projects, and internships to build skills in DV, PD, RTL, STA, and more? 👉 How will they gain industry experience if they never get their first opportunity? There are already many trained freshers in the VLSI ecosystem — passionate, skilled, and eager to contribute. Yet, without guidance, many of them feel lost about the next step. 💡 This is where we would love to hear from industry leaders, hiring managers, and experts: What roadmap should freshers follow today to enter the VLSI industry? Can alternative pathways (internships, research, startups, contract roles, training programs) help bridge the gap? How can academia-industry collaboration prepare students better for jobs? At Logic Verify, we believe freshers are the future pipeline of the semiconductor industry. If guided well today, they can become tomorrow’s experts and strengthen the ecosystem. 📢 To all freshers: Don’t lose hope. Your skills matter. With the right direction and mentorship, you can find your entry point. 🙏 And to all leaders, mentors, and decision-makers in the VLSI world — we invite you to share your insights. Your one comment here might guide an entire batch of freshers toward their first role. Let’s use this platform to share clarity, guidance, and opportunities. 🌟 VLSI Freshers — Your Time Will Come! 🌟 The semiconductor industry is facing challenges, yes — but it’s also expanding like never before. With India’s design ecosystem growing and global demand for chips rising, freshers who prepare today will be tomorrow’s leaders. 🔹 If you’re trained – Don’t just list skills, show them. Share GitHub projects, tool demos (Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor), and real outcomes (timing closure, bug fixes, design improvements). Evidence > promises. 🔹 If you’re not trained yet – Start small but stay consistent. Learn one track (RTL/Verification/Analog), complete a short project in 2–4 weeks, and post your learning journey. Recruiters love to see growth mindset + initiative. 🚀 Remember: Every expert once stood where you are — unsure, but hungry to grow. What separates them is persistence, visibility, and clarity of focus. 💡 Keep learning, keep building, and keep sharing. Your opportunity in VLSI isn’t a question of if — it’s only a question of when. 📌 Interview Tip: Always explain your project with Why you chose it, What you built, and How you executed it — this simple structure makes your answers clear and impactful. #VLSI #Semiconductor #ChipDesign #VLSIFresher #CareerGrowth #Motivation #Jobs2025 #VLSIFresher #CareerGrowth #JobSearch #EngineeringJobs #GraduateJobs #Motivation #CareerTips #VLSI #Semiconductor #ChipDesign #VLSIFresher #CareerGrowth #Motivation #MakeInIndia #EDA #RTL #Verification

⚠️ Awareness for Semiconductor Freshers ⚠️ Many service-based semiconductor companies are taking advantage of fresh graduates. Be careful: 🔹 They promise jobs but keep you in “training” for 6+ months with only ₹10K–15K salary (sometimes even without pay). 🔹 Some hire old pass-outs (2021, 2022, 2023), train them, and then place them in product companies with fake 3 years’ experience – while keeping a big cut of their salary. 🔹 The work culture in such places is often toxic – HRs and managers show ego, poor attitude, and no respect for employees. 🔹 Worst of all, they trap you with 3+ year bonds and demand ₹6–8 lakh if you try to leave early. 👉 What you should do: ✅ Never accept unpaid jobs or unfair long bonds. ✅ Always check the company’s credibility before joining. ✅ Focus on real skills like VLSI, Verification, FPGA, DFT, Physical Design. ✅ Choose genuine internships, open-source projects, or trusted institutes over shortcuts. 💡 Freshers, beware! Don’t fall for fake promises, long bonds, and heavy penalties. Your career is worth more – invest in skills, not scams.

At TechDhaba, me and my team are deeply aware of the serious talent crunch being felt in the Embedded Systems & Semiconductor domain — not rumor, but backed by data. 📊 Current Gap Snapshot India is projected to have a shortage of 250,000–300,000 semiconductor-skilled professionals by 2027, just to keep up with planned fab / PLI / design unit expansion. https://lnkd.in/g2XHBvY8 Across Indian semiconductor & electronics manufacturing, there is a demand for more than 6.3 million (63 lakh) trained “shop-floor workers, purchasing managers, and engineers” over the next 18-24 months in roles spanning equipment service, integration, middleware etc. The Economic Times https://lnkd.in/gsp3YWEQ In semiconductor design and verification, roles such as ASIC verification and FPGA design are seeing 20-25%+ growth in demand, while supply of qualified professionals in those roles remains materially lower (e.g. only a few thousands available vs higher need). https://lnkd.in/gPpQCyii 🎯 What TechDhaba is Doing & Why It Matters We’re not a coaching institute — we are a world-class workforce accelerator/enabler. Already partnering with top MNCs and semiconductor giants, helping them onboard engineers directly into client projects from Day 1. Our track record is strong: multiple successful placements, especially in embedded systems, RTOS, device drivers, VLSI design & verification. We build pipelines of skilled talent across the value chain and fill specific niche gaps (FPGA/ASIC verification, firmware/embedded drivers etc.), which are the hardest to find. Why This is Critical Because while policy and investment (PLI, ISM etc.) are accelerating, without the talent supply, projects stall, quality suffers, and manufacturing/design delays happen. The gap isn’t just quantitative, but qualitative — many fresh graduates don’t have “industry-ready” skills, so companies end up doing heavy internal training or rejecting large numbers of applicants. #TechDhaba #Semiconductors #EmbeddedSystems #VLSI #ElectronicsDesign #SemiconductorIndia #WorkforceDevelopment #CareerAcceleration #Day1Ready #SkillGap #FutureOfWork #EmbeddedC #RTOS #LinuxDeviceDrivers #IoT #ChipDesign #TalentAccelerator #SemiconductorTalent #Upskilling #WorkforceEnablement #IndustryReady
