Karen Bell has dedicated her entire 32-year career in District 54 to the Dooley community, making an incredible impact as a Dual Language First Grade teacher, as well as in special education, multi-grade 1-2 and second-grade classrooms. "I have been at Dooley for my entire career in District 54! I have had the privilege of working with so many wonderful teachers and staff — they feel like family to me," Karen shared. "Through my years at Dooley, my students have meant so much to me, and I will carry them in my heart." As she steps into retirement, Karen looks forward to relaxing and spending more time with family and friends, gardening, traveling and finally tackling all the projects she never had time for.
