Schaumburg School District 54’s Post

Nancy Quintana has devoted the past 22 years to supporting students across District 54 in a variety of roles. She began as a Bilingual Instructional Assistant at Fairview Elementary, then served as a Bilingual Teacher at Stevenson Elementary, moved into a General Instructional Assistant role at Dirksen Elementary and has spent her most recent years as a Special Education Paraprofessional at Churchill Elementary School. In each role, Nancy brought dedication, compassion and a deep commitment to student growth. “My years with District 54 have offered a multitude of opportunities for personal growth, building important professional as well as friendly relationships, and learning alongside our learners,” Nancy shared. “I have enjoyed exploring many different interests and skills through a variety of extracurricular clubs in addition to everyday academic instruction and support.” A 2024 recipient of the District 54 Blue Apple Award, Nancy leaves behind a legacy of dedication and care. In retirement, she looks forward to spending more time with loved ones and enjoying her favorite hobbies — especially gardening and reading.
