Setel’s Post

Last Tuesday marked our first-ever engagement with the UOW Malaysia, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them to the Setel office! The students, undergraduates coming from diverse tech backgrounds, spent the day learning how we bring technology to life here at Setel. The highlights of the visit were two engaging sharing sessions: first by Ts. Khairul Anwar Muhd Ali, our Threat and Vulnerability Management Lead, who spoke about how cybersecurity operates within Setel, followed by Nur Haikal Nordin, our Senior Data Engineer, who shared how data engineering looks for Setel along with the systems that help maximize our processes. The insightful conversations continued during the breakout session that happened over yummy refreshments, where students got to connect with both speakers as well as other members of the Setel Tech Team. The day wrapped up with a group photo and an office tour—marking a meaningful close to an exciting exchange of ideas, curiosity, and inspiration.
