I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Enrico Mayor for an in-depth conversation about productivity, task management, and finding calm in a busy world. In this uncut talk, I share the principles behind my COD (Collect, Organise, Do) system and the Time Sector System—two frameworks that have helped thousands of people reduce stress and get more done with less effort. We explored: 🧠 Why managing time, not tasks, leads to real progress 🗂️ How simplifying your systems can bring focus and balance 📧 My approach to managing email and communication efficiently 💛 The emotional side of productivity—how minimalism helps you feel lighter and more in control If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by your to-do list, I think you’ll find this conversation refreshing and practical. 🎥 Watch the full episode here → https://lnkd.in/exegnHwV

Is it necessary to sit at a desk for 10 hours straight to be productive? Sometimes, intense focus for just four hours can accomplish an entire workload. The remaining time can be spent on other tasks or activities. It's about finding what works best individually, rather than adhering to rigid schedules. Different approaches can still yield the same results. Curious to know if others have similar experiences. For full episode https://lnkd.in/geHer4NT

It’s often the small changes that make the biggest difference. In this clip from Foster Denovo Talks | Wealth, Work and Wellbeing, Chris Thomas shares why he sees himself not as a trainer but as a coach, focused on building adviser confidence, sharpening their message and bringing clarity to client conversations. 🎧 Watch the full episode: https://lnkd.in/edYxN--S #FosterDenovoTalks #AdviserSupport #NarrativeCoaching #FinancialAdvice #IFADevelopment

To-Do List or Time Blocking Which method is the most effective for completing tasks? Both provide systems to boost productivity, but is one clearly better, or can they be combined for improved results? I’ve always thought that making a list and beginning the work is the way to go. Tackle the difficult tasks first! Eat the frog! I listened to an episode of @HubermanLab with Cal Newport (March 11, 2024), where they discussed To-Do Lists and Time Blocking, among other things. It made me consider that there might be a better way and that both methods have their advantages. Which do you find more effective: creating lists or using time blocks? #todolist #timeblocking #eatthefrog

🗄️ “I feel like a filing cabinet…” That’s how one listener described their role when they wrote to Aunty Treacle. Buried under paperwork, short on human interaction, and left wondering: 💬 “Is all this paperwork actually keeping people safe?” In today’s clip, Anna shares the full question and we’re crowdsourcing your insights. Does the mountain of forms and checklists genuinely add value, or is it pulling us away from the conversations that really keep people from harm? 🥄 We’d love to hear from you, drop your thoughts in the comments or email us at ask@auntytreacle.com. Your advice might just feature in a future episode. 🎧 Catch up on past sticky questions here: https://lnkd.in/e86mQGbY #AuntyTreacle #Crowdsourcing #StickySituations #HealthAndSafety #Paperwork #WorkplaceWisdom #SweetSuccess Stuart Hughes Anna Keen

We discuss Toxic Managers and Toxic Environments, but never toxic employees. The first time i heard that word was when a lot of staff were laid off at once at an organization i worked. That action caused a lot of uproar. The Chairman of the company had to speak up, Stating that all the staff laid off at the time were "Toxic Inputants". Who exactly is a toxic inputant and how did they come to that conclusion? I didn't know what the answer was. For HR professionals, the question remains, how best can we resolve this toxic inputants or toxic employee issues in the workplace?? 🤔 🤔 🤔

3-Task Power List ✅ I used to start my mornings with a mile-long checklist, instant overwhelm 😅. Now I write down just 3 mission-critical tasks. That’s it. 🎯 Why it works: • Forces crystal-clear priorities • Delivers real wins before noon • Turns “busy” days into productive ones By lunch, those three tasks are done (or nearly), and everything else feels like a bonus. It’s a small shift that keeps me focused and calm all day. 💡 Try it tomorrow: List your Big Three before opening email. Finish them first, then tackle the extras. What would be on your 3-task list today? 📝 #10MicroHabits #Productivity #Focus #ChallengeWithNatasha #shashanksingh
