***** BDC Automotive Talk - "Inputs & Outputs" I once read that as leaders, we should be far more concerned.............. with our trajectory than with the results. 🤔 At first, I said to myself "of course not, business is a results thing". But, upon reading it multiple times, I came to the conclusion that despite not having an actual definition to this wonderful statement, as a leader in this space way before starting BDC Alchemy, I was already doing that. You see, if you're a leader/manager in a team based environment, you understand that the results come from the people in your care. When you focus on the inputs (your people), the outputs (results) take care of themselves. So my understanding was, if I wanted better results, I needed to be a better coach/leader to my people. As in: - Stream lined processes - Performance based bonuses - Daily coaching - Aligning the BDC with the sales/service initiatives - Inter-department communication ...... all of which BDC Alchemy develops within your dealership. Are you pulling the same understanding from this message? BDC Alchemy - "Helping develop your people & your business"

2dLook up basketball coach John Wooden. He pretty much preached the same thing. Check out his preparation for practices alone. His coaching was so dynamic that there’s a business course based off of it.
