Sigmatech would like to thank everyone who generously donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve #ToysforTots Program. We overstuffed two Toys for Tots boxes thanks to your kind generosity! It has been and continues to be Sigmatech’s desire to support less fortunate children throughout the United States so they may experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope through the Toys for Tots Program. Are you looking for a non-profit to support this #GivingTuesday? I'd like to shout-out Stronghold Food Pantry, which was founded by my sister-in-law Monica Bassett. Stronghold is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving American military families facing food insecurity with care and dignity by providing food, necessities, and resources. 📣 Why does the work Stronghold do matter? 📣 Approximately 24% of active-duty service members and their families in the US military experience food insecurity, meaning they do not have access to sufficient food to meet their basic needs. You can read more about why Monica started Stronghold in this article: https://lnkd.in/eWGGCCWk 💵 Details to donate 💵 If you're interested, you can donate two ways: 1. directly via the website (https://lnkd.in/dhCAumjg) 2. support their Angel Tree program via this Amazon wishlist (https://lnkd.in/e8KqmKXY)

Military Special Operation Family Collaborative’s (MSOFC) founding work revealed concerning challenges impacting America’s warfighting families. A mere 13% of families from Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special operations units felt their basic needs were met, while only 18% of spouses felt able to pursue personal goals. Alarmingly, service members were delaying essential healthcare for an average of 13+ years. The intensity of service in special ops resonates profoundly throughout the entire SOF family. MSOFC raises awareness to SOF pitfalls and emphasizes the development of healthy foundations that can fortify special operations families. Our programs foster awareness, teach SOF families to identify signs of stress, and take proactive measures to establish healthy checkpoints and flourish. Military Special Operation Family Collaborative’s mission is imperative. Will you support it and help push free family programs and resources into our active and veteran community? It's #NationalDonutDay! What's your favorite kind of donut? Let us know in the comments. Every year on the first Friday of June, Americans celebrate National Donut Day to honor the Salvation Army Lassies, the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during the First World War to lift their spirits. This tradition began in Chicago in 1938. We "donut" know what we would do without all of our wonderful clients! #GJMAccounting #accountingandaccountants #smallbusiness

Today, we come together to celebrate generosity and the power of community. At the True North Foundation, we are on a mission to support veterans, military families, and nonprofit organizations that make a lasting impact across the country. Every year, over 200,000 service members transition to civilian life, often facing challenges like finding purpose, employment, and community. Through our four pillars—education, employment, adaptive sports, and rehabilitation—we work tirelessly to bridge these gaps and empower our nation’s heroes. Your donation today directly supports: ✅ Scholarships for military children through partners like the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. ✅ Transitional support for veterans and military spouses through organizations like Dog Tag Inc. ✅ Adaptive sports programs and rehabilitation services for injured veterans, such as those provided by Stay In Step and Merging Vets and Players. When you give to the True North Foundation, you’re not just donating—you’re investing in the futures of those who have served. Together, we can ensure veterans and their families thrive beyond their time in uniform. 💙 Donate Today: https://lnkd.in/g74jC6gm #GivingTuesday #VeteranSupport #Nonprofit #MakeADifference #TrueNorthFoundation #LeadingByDoing #Donate #SupportOurHeroes

This weekend I saw a lot businesses posting "Happy Memorial Day!" content. "Come out to Rudy's Bar and celebrate the long holiday weekend with us, we're selling $5 orange crushes all day long!" Memorial Day is to remember the hundreds of thousands of military members who gave the ultimate sacrifice and never came home to their families. Asking people to come to your restaurant to "celebrate the holiday" feels really wrong for Memorial Day. Are we forgetting what it's really about? Here are a few ways you can post on social or email your customers about Memorial Day that honors the military members and their families: 1. Share a link to an organization that helps families of fallen soldiers asking for donations, like the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation 2. Donate 10% of your proceeds on Memorial Day to a reputable organization like the Wounded Warrior Project 3. Highlight a veteran who works at your company and thank them for their service 4. Offer a 20% discount to all active military members to thank them for their service 5. Be like Born Primitive (pictured below) and don't ask anything of your customers, simply post about Memorial Day in a way that honors the fallen. They also shared a really great video on their Instagram and Facebook pages to remind everyone of the true meaning of Memorial Day. Please take a moment to watch it, I'll link it in the comments. #MemorialDay #Military #HonorTheFallen

Giving is about more than making a donation, it is about making a Difference. #GivingTuesday serves as a reminder that small efforts can add up to have huge impacts. When we come together and support causes that mean the most to us, we strengthen our communities and build a better future. Every act of giving creates ripples of progress and positivity. At Wartech Engineering, we believe in the power of community outreach. We are proud to continue our central mission of Supporting US Warfighters. We do this year round by supplying them with tools they need to complete their mission and return home safely, and actively contribute to causes that give them the help and support they need and deserve upon their return home. This Giving Tuesday, we contributed to DAV (Disabled American Veterans), Wounded Warrior Project, and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to help those who sacrificed so much for our country. We welcome everyone who is willing and able to join us in contributing to these important organizations, or choose a non profit with a cause that is important to you. Remember, giving isn't just an action, it's a mindset. What causes are important to you, and how did you contribute on Giving Tuesday? Share your stories and organizations below to inspire future giving. #giveback #communityoutreach #supportveterans
