Great first year! Onward to the next.
Wow, it's been a wild first year since we released the beta of Sluice Version 1 to the world just 12 months ago! We have a long way to go and many things to improve - but the response to our first release has been more than we've hoped for. We now count 20+ groups from around the world as early partners. Some highlights over our first 12 months deploying the patented Sluice System in 7 countries! - We are now well over 1,000 users who have used Sluice AI to help them create more than 30,000 need statements. - 5 multinational companies in the top 20 MedTech companies in the world (Soon to be 7 of the top 20!) are already using Sluice to power their Needs-Driven Innovation teams. One team completed a full Biodesign sprint, generating 270+ need statements and narrowing them down to the top six fundable projects in just 45 days! - Used at multiple world-class academic institutions like Stanford University, The Johns Hopkins University The University of Texas at Austin UCLA McMaster University University of Cambridge National University of Singapore University of Melbourne Texas A&M Engineering Medicine (EnMed) Case Western Reserve University MedTech Innovation + Entrepreneurship @ UNC & NC State Emory University and many more. - Used at multiple world-class health systems for innovation programs, like University of California, San Francisco Houston Methodist Ochsner Health NHS Taipei Medical University Frank Wang, Ph.D. and I are so grateful for all the feedback on Sluice AI so far. We can't wait to debut Sluice version 2 later this fall - V1 is cool but V2 is going to blow your mind. Lots of very exciting things to come including many more exciting partners we can't talk about just yet. A huge thank you to all our mentors, investors, advisor, and friend support Paul Yock Joe Mandato Ravi Dy Pamnani M.D. Christine Winoto David Hindin, M.D. William Kethman Garrett Smith Cynthia Yock Hallie Brinkerhuff Mitchell Muir Matthew Johnson Shirin Tefagh Julie Goonewardene and so many more. Happy 1st year go-live anniversary! Let's see if you can guess where the pictures from our travels are from in your comments below 😀 Stanford Mussallem Center for Biodesign Sluice AI UCLA Biodesign Biomedical Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin
