This week, I attended the Needs Driven Innovation Biodesign Workshop at the Texas A&M Engineering Medicine (EnMed) Campus. Rush Bartlett provided insight into what it takes to cultivate and develop innovative healthcare solutions. As the only undergraduate student in the room, it was a privilege to learn alongside doctors and other highly educated healthcare and engineering professionals. I found that we each brought unique qualities and perspectives to the team, which strengthened our idea-generating process. Overall, I had such a wonderful experience. I’m taking home new skills that will shape the way I create moving forward. Thank you for the opportunity!
