Rethinking Modern Management: Rituals or LLMs? Yesterday, I faced some pushback on the value of traditional management practices. It got me thinking: in an era of Large Language Models and AI assistants, how relevant are frameworks like goal-setting (OKRs, anyone?) and visual boards? We know the classics: ▶️ Goal-Setting (OKRs, SMART goals) ▶️ Visual Management (Kanban, Scrum boards) ▶️ Regular Retrospectives These are the bedrock of organized teams. But now, we can simply ask an AI to break down a goal, prioritize a backlog, or even predict bottlenecks. So, I'm genuinely curious: 1. How are you applying these classic practices today? Have they evolved? 2. Are we heading towards a future where AI co-pilots replace these rituals, or simply enhance them? 3. What does "modern management" truly look like in 2024? Is it a blend of human-centric rituals and powerful AI, or something entirely new? I believe the principles are eternal, but the tools are transforming.
