It’s sad that whether you’ve used GPT is judged by the length of a dash. Anyone who’s literate and works in UX writing or is skilled in graphic design learned back in college what kinds of dashes exist and when to use them — and knows the keyboard shortcuts for each one. I usually include this information in the design system documentation as well 📝

Here's the one prompt addition that transformed my design-to-development process: "Make it feel like it was crafted by an award-winning designer. Ultra-modern, playful, highly usable, with smooth microinteractions and delightful UX touches that elevate the entire experience." I now add this to every vibe-coding session when turning designs into code. Here's why it works: 🎯 Preserves design intent during development ✨ Forces attention to microinteractions (where magic happens) 🚀 Pushes beyond "functional" to "delightful" 💡 Reminds AI to think like a designer, not just a developer The result? Code that actually feels like the original design vision instead of a watered-down interpretation. Your prompts shape your outcomes. What's your secret sauce for better design-to-dev translations? #VibeCoding #DesignToDev #UXDesign #ProductDesign #AIDesign

Hey web design wizards! Ever thought about how AI can make your websites truly accessible to everyone? It's not just a good practice; it's an ethical and essential one. AI tools are rapidly transforming how we approach accessibility, from automated audits that spot compliance issues in seconds to smart content suggestions that ensure clarity for diverse users. Imagine AI analyzing your color contrasts, font sizes, and even generating accurate alt-text suggestions for images on the fly, helping you meet WCAG standards without tedious manual checks. This means less guesswork for designers, more time for creativity, and a much better, more inclusive experience for users with disabilities. It’s about leveraging technology to build a more inclusive digital world, making sure your amazing designs reach their full potential for every single visitor. What's your take? How are you using AI to boost accessibility in your projects?#WebAccessibility #AIinDesign #InclusiveDesign #WebDesign #AITools #UXDesign #DigitalInclusion

Three new workflows that AI unlocks for designers: 💡 0-1 explorations Explore new features directly in your codebase instead of in isolated prototypes. 👩💻 Building in the code Fix UX and copy details that's the last 10% of polish. Designers can now do this themselves. 🔍 Understanding the code base Ask AI how features work today in th code, what constraints exist, and even "how would you design this differently?" What's surprising is that Meaghan (Claude Code design lead) spends 90% of her time on the last two workflows. Prototyping gets a lot of hype but improving what already exists matters too! Ever thought about how accessible your website truly is? Beyond just meeting basic compliance, truly inclusive design ensures everyone, regardless of ability, can navigate and interact with your content seamlessly. This is where AI is becoming an absolute game-changer in web design! AI tools are revolutionizing accessibility by automating tasks that were once time-consuming and prone to human error. Imagine AI generating descriptive alt-text for images, providing real-time captions for video content, or even dynamically adjusting layouts and font sizes to suit individual user needs. These aren't just futuristic concepts; they're becoming realities. By integrating AI, designers can go beyond manual checks, creating websites that are inherently more inclusive from the ground up. This means better UX for users with visual impairments, cognitive disabilities, or motor challenges, making the digital world a more welcoming place for all. Frameworks change. Fundamentals don’t. Every few months, a new “game-changing” tool drops. Today it’s Tailwind. Yesterday it was Bootstrap. Tomorrow it’ll be something else. But the core principles? Accessibility. Performance. UX. Clean code. Problem-solving. Those are what separate devs who just “keep up” from devs who stay relevant. Master the fundamentals, and you’ll never be outdated. Rely only on frameworks, and you’ll always be chasing the next trend. Focus on skills that survive the hype. #WebDevelopment #AI #UIUX

1moHi Storyblok team. I value the effort you’re putting into making the UX more joyful and seeing these innovative steps with AI. However, I have to be honest: the new pricing structure has been disappointing. I hope you might reconsider or find a more balanced approach that doesn’t leave long-time users feeling left behind.
