Ride for Progress – und für Kinder in Not 🚴♀️ Unsere Kollegen haben bewiesen: Der Weg ist das Ziel. Raphael (Internationale Konzernkommunikation TPA) und Jakob (GIS Representative) hatten die Idee, gemeinsam an der Charity-Bike-Tour „Ride for Progress“ teilzunehmen und damit Concordia Sozialprojekte zu unterstützen. 🤝 Der Plan: An nur einem Tag von Stephansdom zu Stephansdom – von Passau nach Wien. Kurz vor dem Start musste Jakob krankheitsbedingt aussetzen, doch Raphael ließ sich nicht aufhalten und startete gemeinsam mit seiner Schwester um 4:30 Uhr in Passau. Nach 233 Kilometern und 11 Stunden im Sattel endete die Tour in Krems. Die letzten Kilometer nach Wien hätten in völliger Dunkelheit gelegen. 🛣️🌙 🏆Und trotzdem haben sie persönliche Rekorde gebrochen und unzählige Eindrücke gesammelt. Insgesamt konnten bereits 528 Euro an Spenden für Kinder in Not gesammelt werden. STRABAG unterstützt die Aktion als offizieller Partner. 👏 💬Raphael fasst seine Erfahrungen so zusammen: „Selbst, wenn man ein ambitioniertes Ziel nicht ganz erreicht, sind Vorbereitung, Ausdauer und Teamgeist entscheidend, genau wie in unseren Projekten.“ Und vielleicht war das erst der Anfang: Jakob und Raphael überlegen, künftig ein regelmäßiges STRABAG-Radevent für Kolleg:innen zu starten – mit kürzerer Distanz, aber genauso viel Teamspirit. 🚀 Wir ziehen den Helm vor so viel Einsatz und Engagement! 👷🚴♂️ ➡️ Alles rund um das Projekt erfahrt ihr hier: https://lnkd.in/dXDP2xbK . Ride for Progress – and for Children in Need 🚴♀️ Raphael (International Corporate Communications TPA) and Jakob (GIS Representative) set out to support Concordia Social Projects by joining the charity bike tour Ride for Progress. 🤝 The plan: one day, from Stephansdom to Stephansdom – Passau to Vienna. Just before the start, Jakob had to withdraw due to illness. But Raphael didn’t let that stop him and set off at 4:30 a.m. in Passau together with his sister. After 233 km and 11 hours of cycling, they reached Krems – the last stretch to Vienna would have meant riding in complete darkness. 🛣️🌙 🏆 Still, they broke personal records and collected countless impressions along the way. So far, 528 euros in donations have been raised for children in need.
