Dear LinkedIn Community, It has come to our attention that individuals are posing as Substack employees and contacting people for journalism positions. We want to share some key information to help you identify this type of fraud: ➡️ Substack does not hire individuals as "Journalists." ➡️ All communication from Substack will come from an @substackinc.com email address. ➡️ Our hiring process involves a series of virtual, on-video interviews that include members of our leadership team. ➡️ Recruiting correspondence will come from our Recruiting Lead, Emily Doran. If you have any doubts or concerns about the legitimacy of a communication regarding a position at Substack, please reach out to Emily or recruiting@substackinc.com.
Thank you for the info!! Gotta be careful on the internet 🥲
I'm trying to get support for an issue I'm having, but the support page seems to be broken, and the AI chatbot isn't helping. Is there an email address or phone number I can use to talk to a person? Details: I searched for the error I'm getting ("error uploading wordmark"), and that didn't yield any results, so I clicked on the link here (Can't find what you're looking for? Submit a support request here.) which points to this (https://substack.com/api/v1/zendesk/new-ticket) but redirects to this (https://substack.com/support) which is currently a blank page.
Thanks! So many scammers out there… sigh.
Thanks for flagging Substack

4moThanks for posting. I tried to list my Substack, and the way that Linked In is set up, it looked as if I actually worked at Substack. That resulted in an engineer contacting me to let me know he applied for a position. So, had to change that.
