I was helping others start Internet in the region. So for India if anyone had to start public Internet, it had to be VSNL. So I set up a meeting with Mr. Betsinger, A remarkable man, along with his very able team of Mr. Amitabh Kumar and Mr. Neeraj Sonkar and explain to them what we were doing with the BBS. Our years of experience of running a bulletin board service was truly helpful to VSNL I feel and I was also able to introduce. A good team of my dear friend shared Sangi, Dr. Raj Mehta and Ravinder Orphan who played their own role. Shorter than I consulted to VSNL and also later to Reliance and I had the privilege and honor to work very closely with Mr. Mukesh Ambani and Mrs. Nita Ambani. I was closely associated with friends in Isaac and in APNIC.
