I'll never get used to the feeling of announcing massive partnerships with industry leaders (no matter how much we practice it, sorry not sorry 🪄).
TL;DR: WebCargo by Freightos is playing a much expanded role in supporting NX GROUP (NIPPON EXPRESS GROUP) global ocean and air rate management, quoting and booking (together with a side-helping of market intelligence).
The tech that best of breed forwarders choose says a lot about them.
And I have some new-found context for this (which obviously includes AI because I'm a one-track mind).
When you can only do one thing, it's easy to do it and focus on doing it well. But what happens when AI lets you do...everything?
Uncapped AI capabilities doesn't come with uncapped focus and attention. So we need to be much, much more careful about where we invest time.
Yes, you can write a book, ship a feature, make a coloring page of a dinosaur lawn mower, photoshop your fantasty football league into a Downton Abbey scene and then break for lunch.
But when you spread yourself across that all, each will be a 4/10. (Although, if you ask ChatGPT, it will rate it a 8 or 9/10. What a sycophant).
Instead:
1. People (AND companies) need to choose what they want to accomplish
2. Once you have your objectives, figure out what your core strength and priorities are. Build there.
3. For everything else, find the best possible partner to support your mission
