Syensqo’s Post

At #Syensqo, we see the health of surrounding ecosystems as a driver of long-term business success. Building an economy that works for people, industry, and the environment helps us mitigate risk, ensure continuity, and create lasting value for all our stakeholders. This UN International Day of Biological Diversity, we’re pleased to share that our Oldbury site in the UK has just been awarded Wildlife Habitat Council (WHC) Silver Certification, building on the National Sustainability Award the site received last year. Our team at Oldbury has been working hard to transform the site. A new green corridor now runs through its heart, and a rejuvenated woodland has become home to a growing diversity of plants, insects, and birds – a testament to what's possible when industry, employees and nature thrive together. These efforts are part of our broader environmental stewardship work, focusing where we can have the greatest impact: reducing freshwater use, mitigating pollution and waste, and increasingly, restoring biodiversity. #AdvancingHumanity #WeAreExplorers #BiodiversityDay United Nations
