SQUATWOLF recently turned 9, and what a journey it’s been. From just one order on launch day to selling in 100+ countries today.
What started as a late-night side hustle in Dubai for Anam Khalid and Wajdan Gul has grown into a globally recognised gym wear brand—proudly rooted in the Middle East and driven by global ambition.
We’re excited to be a part of their story.
We actually woke up next morning and we had orders from 60 plus countries around the world. We have built something that actually resonates really well with the international audience. Yeah. Where do I start? Hi, my name is Rajan, I'm the cofounder and CEO of Scottsbluff. Hi, my name is Adam Khalid. I'm the cofounder and CEO of Scott Wolf. And this is our story of how we started the first room where brand from the buy and we are taking it 200 plus countries worldwide. So when we moved to Dubai in 2014, we had active lifestyle. We would go to the gym, everyone around us was wearing those big brands and they were not specifically made for the gym goers. And that's when the idea clicked that OK, there is no local brands here, there is nothing that is specifically designed for the gym goers. We didn't have any experience at all of retail. A little did we know how many challenges we would face along the way. But I think we had each other support. We were still doing our day jobs by the way. We would just work throughout the day and then from 6:00 PM till like 3 or 4 in the night, we would work in the business. Then you would sleep for four hours and then continue working again. Do I day job and this was our cycle for like at least two years. After all of this effort, we were able to launch the first few, you know, 6 items. We launched the website, launched our social media, announced the launch, slept at night. We were like, we wake up in the morning. We would have thousands of waters woke up in the morning, 0 orders, 10 AM we're like we caught our first. But that's a design and throughout the day it was just one order. So thank God we did it, did some resignation on the day. So we started doing a lot of social media activity around personal trainers that you would see in your local gyms. People started seeing their own personal trainers, India adds modeling for Scott Wolf. And that's where really the momentum and the cycle kicked off. And the first physical space where we were available was one of the gyms. And that was like, you know, such a big moment for a, for a young brand, couple of months old. One night. We just decided, what about if we open the website? The entire world and allow anyone and everyone to order. This time it was true. We actually woke up next morning and we had orders from 60 plus countries around the world and we were like wow. We have built something that actually resonates really well with the international audience. Having the right payment processes is really important as well, especially for this region. When we started, people were just used to have two kind of payments. One is credit card and another is cash on delivery. And actually majority were doing cash on delivery and cash on delivery was so, so painful. Of this business because customers would order at night and in the morning when we would you know, our delivery partners would go ahead and, and try to deliver those orders and then the orders would come back and we would waste all the time and energy and money actually trying to deliver that product. So then that's where obviously Tavi came in. What was really interesting as soon as we introduced tabby on our website, what we saw our cash on delivery rate started going down South. People were not choosing cash on delivery, they started choosing A tabby as a buy now pay later option. But actually it helped us increase our average order value by 7% as well. There be helped us acquire more and more customers because our price point is not an entry level price point. People who want to have Scott Wolf, but they don't want to pay up front. So obviously with the installment option we are expanding into those customer base as well who otherwise would be difficult for. I think what we did really well, both of us is that we started right, because it's really easy for entrepreneurs these days that they try to get things perfect. But we were really scrappy. We were like, we have this idea. It's going to be great if you just launch and, and, and see how it goes. You also realize that the role of the founders is not operating the business, but growing the business overall. In the in, in the business, actually we celebrate failures and we encourage failures because now we actually know 100 things not to do. That's what the journey of being an entrepreneur is, right? You're going to take risks and you're going to fail many times, but that one short is what you need to be successful in this journey. So yeah, just embrace failures.
I wish there was experienced customer service agent to asssist customers or users this would be a great application. But no one can help apart from scrpits
I am extremely disappointed with the handling of my account. Your support team has repeatedly failed to resolve my issue, ignored my communications, and has not provided a clear statement of my transactions. Despite providing all required information, I have received no helpful guidance, and the situation remains unresolved.
It is unacceptable that your employees are unable to manage basic account issues or assist customers effectively. I request immediate action to provide a full statement of my account, correct any errors, and stop sending unjustified threats. Tabby | تابي
