When a spring ice storm left The Highlands buried in inches of ice, our Boyne Resorts team grabbed chainsaws and got to work. It wasn’t easy, but together we kept moving forward. As one team member said, “It wasn’t about how much work there was — it was about sticking together until it was done.” 🫶 This story isn’t just about recovery — it’s about grit, resilience, teamwork, and the people who make The Highlands what it is. Our team continues to work this summer and fall, clearing debris to prepare the ski slopes for winter. The damage of the storm will forever impact our northern Michigan landscape.
