You know, it was a great session actually, because I've been able to meet lot more folks, my piano industry and various other industries people have. I was able to give him a chance to meet them and to collaborate with them. And I've been witnessing some of our panel discussions today, various insights and then aspects of how people look cyber security at their industries is something just really great at the same time, from a technology perspective, yeah. Got many things in in place right now. It's moving faster. At the same time, there are a lot more solutions where we thought that this could take years long. It's it's been in the invent of AI. I could see there are a lot of solutions just coming on our way to implement it and then to make it faster. Do you see, do you think cybersecurity today has become beyond, you know, security itself? It is now the backbone of every business. True cyber security is the is the chapter right now. See whatever you build and what are you doing in digital economy or digital space that is that is dependent on cybersecurity. I would say because as a CISO or as an organization, we have got a responsibility to go ahead and then deliver it in a very secure manner. Hi, you're watching the Mainstream. I am Simran Shivalkar, your post for today we are in Chennai witnessing the latest edition of Emerge Tech, the multi City Rd. show brought to you by the Mainstream. Well, today I'm joined by Mr. Gowthaman Jyoti Lingam. He is the chief information security officer at Latent View Analytics. Mr. Jonathan Ingram, firstly, thank you so much for joining us today Sir. Let's lead with your experience. Can you share about today's event? How has it been so far in terms of the discussions, the kind of networking? Can you tell us about it? Very Shamran, There was an important aspect today. It was a great session actually, because I've been able to meet lot more folks, my peer industry and various other industries people have. I was able to give him a chance to meet them and to collaborate with them and I've been witnessing. Some of our panel discussions today, various insights and then aspects of how people look cyber security at their industries is something just really great. And then I could learn a lot more things from them on and then I'm here to go and apply the same things whatever learned today in my industry as well. And I was also given a chance to participate in the panel discussions and I have shared my views as well. Lot of takeaways from me, maybe some of our. These people have taken from my session as well, but for me there are lot more knowledge sharing sessions. I've really learned many things from this. But thank you so much for sharing your experience. And like you rightly said, you've been the part of the cyber security panel and you've also pointed out that you could you know, leaders of speakers from varied industry sectors or how they view cybersecurity from their lands. I want to understand from you today cyber security or the entire threat landscape has been. Evolving with emerging technologies such as AI. Can you tell us from your point of view how does today's risk landscape looks like and any best practices that Cisos should be, you know, taking ahead or to kind of build that kind of robust infrastructure, right? Hey, that's a very valid and impractical question when because at this point in time, at this juncture, everything is dynamic in nature, we could. They eaten every day. The progress is really moving faster. And then as he goes, we have to go and adopt it. And then otherwise we'll be missing a big thing in in how do we protect and how do we measure things. That is something that's important for us. So today we've got technology partners who are really enhancing and helping us in terms of taking our initiatives, that is #1 #2 is with whatever technology is there, I really would like to suggest. Come off to my peer groups that getting in management support in terms of how do you go ahead and then lead some of these initiatives, something that is important now take time and then talk to them, make them understand that these are something that is very, very important in nature and then you have to be taking care of it. And that is going to be really helpful. At the same time from a technology perspective, yeah, has got many things in in place right now. It's moving faster at the same time. There are a lot more solutions where we thought that this could take years long. It's it's been in the event of a I I could see there are a lot of solutions just coming on our way to implement it and then to make it faster. See in the in the in the third landscape, space is very important. How soon that you detect it and as soon as you detect it, how are you going to contain it? And as soon as they contain it, how are you going to come out of that? That is something just important which a. Really proves using this technology that it can, it can if you sooner, if you are up it and then you can come out of the situation very well. And that is what I'm here to say that wonderful. Thank you so much. So for sharing your insights on that. And I also would like to know from you today, our cybersecurity leaders or Cisos are being viewed for, you know, for their roles, not just to protect the organizations or to build up the cybersecurity strategy, but for like business enablers. Ohh, what is your take on this? Do you see, do you think cyber security today has become beyond, you know, security itself? It is now the backbone of every business. True cyber security is the is the chapter right now. See whatever you build and what are you doing, digital economy or digital space that is that is dependent on cyber security, I would say because as a SISO or as an organization. You've got a responsibility to go ahead and then deliver it in a very secure manner. That is the end goal for every other business be it whatever business you are. If you are in digital, you are responsible it is to go out and deliver to end users or the customers in a very secure manner. If not that is not that is going to be very direct data leakages and other things would be there and then you have to be there are lot more regulations also be there. So it's very important that. As is Heizo. You are as a pilot for the plane and you are as the you're going to lead the team and you're going to help the business to land in a very safe and secure manner, right. That is important as a seasonal because everything else has been taken care. But then this space on the securing the environment, securing the the whole of organization from a cyber security space scissors got a responsibility more than the business at the same time the other leaders. Who can dry, who can, who can guide, and then they can lead in the right direction. Absolutely. Thank you so much, Mr. Jonathan Ingram, for sharing your perspective with us and giving us a unique view on how cybersecurity is to be viewed from a different, you know, lens when we talk about different sectors. And thank you so much for joining us today while we wrap up. I look forward to connect with you again. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

AI is rewriting the cyber threat playbook.
Trend Micro’s latest report warns that “vibe-coded” cybercrime is lowering the barrier to entry—where attackers use AI to turn security research into partial exploits at speed. This accelerates copycat malware and complicates attribution.
At Wipro, we don’t just monitor this shift—we act. Through our strategic partnerships and AI-powered cyber defense embedded in Wipro’s FullStride Cloud Studio, we deliver proactive, intelligence-driven security. Our global SOCs are already leveraging AI analytics to anticipate, detect, and neutralise emerging threats before they can be weaponised.
The challenge is clear: AI is a double-edged sword. Our response must be smarter, faster, and more collaborative than ever.
