A few years ago, fresh from my experience as a board member of Make-A-Wish America, I asked my colleague Aiko Tan, MBA: “We have Make-A-Wish for kids. Why not for older adults?” And from that SCANkind was born. It also sounds like you are helping identify and solve basic human needs and gaps in fractured and broken systems. While Make-A-Wish America is fulfilling the dreams of kids, you are helping adults access life necessities. 🙏🏻 It takes a village.
15 years ago, Jeremy Bloom founded Wish of a Lifetime, a nonprofit that has been granting wishes to older adults ever since. There should be ample opportunity to further expand this concept!

Taking a wish and giving it wrinkles is genius. Purpose-driven doesn’t have to stop at retirement. This is compassion with teeth, and it’s long overdue.
