My father-in-law lived to be 100. He was one of the lucky ones who survived his “day at the beach” on June 6th, 1944. If you’re lucky enough to be on a beach this Memorial Day weekend, take a hot second to whisper a prayer of gratitude for the men and women who have provided that freedom for you.
Amen brother! “Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it”.
Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing. What a great legacy!
Freedom is typically, never free. To hold and appreciate with gratitude.
Watching the first couple of minutes of Saving Private Ryan really moved me and showed the true Hell these brave men went through to keep our freedom. God Bless him and your family. “Freedom isn’t Free!l🇺🇸
