Sharing a few observations from ISG's 2025 State of Enterprise AI Adoption and McKinsey & Company’s tech trends outlook. ISG finds 31% of prioritized #AI use cases are now in production, more than double 2024, yet only one in four is meeting revenue expectations. Efficiency is up, growth is harder. McKinsey points to a wide frontier, from agentic AI and human and machine collaboration to digital trust. The lesson is that scaling is not just technical. It is talent, governance, solid data foundations, and the right balance of local and central control. I hear and see the same pattern. Most teams are past pilots, but few efforts are truly embedded in how the business runs. The model is rarely the blocker, integration and change are. That is why the path forward needs to be practical and measurable. Start with clear outcomes: pick a metric, prove it, then scale. Operate at two speeds, leaving room for quick experiments as you build strong foundations. Choose platforms that are open, composable, and governed, and make transparency and auditability the default. Build a culture that learns fast and builds responsibly, beyond IT. We are entering the embed phase. Leaders who connect trusted data, real use cases, and clear guardrails will create durable advantage at scale.
