Toronto Foundation’s Post

New! The Indigenous Good to Give Guide is out now! https://lnkd.in/givjZtNa Celebrating culture. Advocacy. Providing community supports and services. These are just a few ways that Indigenous-led and serving organizations continue to show up for First Nations, Inuit and Métis folks in this city.  Over 80,000 Indigenous people live in Toronto. Most are born here, but many migrate looking for opportunities. More and more Indigenous youth call this place home.   It’s been 10 years since the Truth and Reconciliation Report was released. Let’s continue to uplift and support Indigenous people, but let’s also do better. Together let’s double down on a commitment to learning, acting, showing up as allies and in community, and through our philanthropy.    With this Good to Give Guide, developed in partnership with Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council (TASSC), you can start by getting to know the dozens of Toronto's Indigenous-led and focused organizations serving First Nations, Inuit and Métis people in this city.
