Introducing Discovery and Lux: New AI systems with DOE and AMD

It's a big day for American AI innovation and we're beyond proud to make it possible.  Together with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge National Laboratory and AMD, we are delivering two new AI systems – “Discovery” and “Lux” - to advance national AI initiatives. Discovery will become the world's next generation exascale system and one of the first to feature brand new HPE Cray supercomputing technologies. Discovery will enable extreme scaling for large model development and become a testbed for quantum. Lux will deliver a multi-tenant AI cloud platform to support training and inferencing workloads. We are building on 50 years of supercomputing innovation to power a new era of AI and breakthroughs. Looking forward to powering this new chapter! https://lnkd.in/gfQTFZyJ
