Turner Fleischer and Autodesk: Revolutionizing AEC with AI and MCP

Ctrl + AI + Deliver Our Digital Practice Manager Artyom Savin and Senior Software Developer Daniel Naughton attended the 2025 AU Conference in Nashville—where it became clear: it’s time to reimagine project delivery. The formalization of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as an industry standard has enabled Autodesk to develop MCP servers that provide a powerful toolkit for LLMs to interact with design data, laying the groundwork for next-generation, AI-driven design workflows. Autodesk’s investment in the AEC data model marks a pivotal shift from file-centric workflows to a data-driven approach — accessing design data at a granular level to enable smarter, faster, and more context-aware collaboration. This evolution unlocks powerful capabilities, from real-time querying and analytics to data-informed decision-making across the project lifecycle. At Turner Fleischer, we’ve built in-house platforms that unify our operational data, giving us a unique opportunity to connect it with Autodesk’s emerging design data ecosystem. This integration will bring full connectivity between all of our project data, and will enable generative design and natural language querying shape how we create, analyze, and optimize the built environment. #TFLeads #AutodeskUniversity #AI #AEC #DigitalPractice
