We’re just one week away from the biggest Wipeout Dementia yet - where 72 corporate surfers will come together at URBNSURF Sydney to make waves for the future of dementia research in Australia. This isn’t just a surf event. It’s a movement of business leaders, colleagues, families and friends standing shoulder-to-shoulder to fund the science that will change the trajectory of dementia. Together, they’ve already raised over $200,000 in this event for CHeBA’s world-leading research - driven by personal stories, shared purpose and a powerful sense of community. Every dollar raised represents hope for the 421,000 Australians living with dementia today - and the millions more who will be affected in the years to come. As we count down to the 10-year anniversary event, our goal is within reach - but we need your help to push it over the line. Donate or share this post to back the surfers who are riding for change: https://lnkd.in/gExUNVab We’re so grateful to this year’s surfers for their passion, drive and heart - you’re the reason this campaign continues to grow stronger every year. A shout out to the incredible captains - Anthony Scotts, Peter Clemesha, darren beasley, Philip Vivian, Steve Watson, Craig Rodgers, Reece Tabor, Michael Gordon and Clare Coleman - your leadership and commitment have united this extraordinary group in the fight for a dementia-free future. We couldn't do it without our corporate sponsors and all their support in the lead up - Morgans Financial Limited (thank you Mark Gross and Gabrielle Chisholm and Jacquie Morgan), Avenor (thank you Peter Clemesha, James Paver and Zoe L.), Versatile Group (thank you Mike Gordon, Anthea Finch, Juliette Nankervis), AWM - Australian Workstation Manufacturers (thank you Anthony Scotts and team), Liberty Specialty Markets (thank you Todd Woodard), Winten Property Group (thank you Will Rothwell and Pip), Sense Projects (thank you Brett Eichhorn and Kristian Kelly), SHAPE Australia (thank you Phillip Wicks, Peter Marix-Evans and Stephanie Bombardiere), Essence Project Management (thank you Reece Tabor and David Nicholas, GAICD), Wentworth (thank you Clare and Fabian Nager) and Haigs Builder Brokers (thank you George Sharpe) - you've made this milestone event possible and ensure every dollar raised goes to research. #10yearsofimpact #surfforacause #CHeBA #WipeoutDementia
