Disney L. builds tech systems, supports women in CS with scholarship

Inspired by her late father to build a successful career in software engineering, Disney L. (BMath ’14) is creating technical systems to drive business outcomes at tech giants like Google and NVIDIA.        She is also working to create a lasting legacy with the Tung Lam Women in Computer Science Scholarship, which supports women in computer science.       “I think in tech you sometimes lose the human element … I want to understand what people want to do in their careers and where they want to grow. I’m hoping to meet the scholarship recipients and be part of their journey too.”        Read more from this #UWaterlooMagazine feature: https://lnkd.in/g6fpww8h
