How has working with deaf people changed the way you see communication? Growing up I was forced to learn many verbal languages and honestly I struggled. I usually would mix up two languages together when speaking, but with sign language it's just feels so natural and comfortable to express myself. You can talk to anyone, literally anyone across the room and not disturb the single soul. Saying who believes in power of spoken with? After stepping into this community, I realized that communication is far beyond from these spoken words. It's all about connection, expression and being more empathetic. Now I believe power is with words. Either it can be spoken or signed.
